Architecturally, the building is a witness to the growth of Berlin as it became a city with several million inhabitants. The house was built between 1897 and 1898 by Max Gosebruch, and the building displays stylistic features from the Gründerzeit. In combination with the ornate plasterwork and the bossage in the plinth area, the clinker brick façade stands out from the other buildings along the street.
Inside the building, there are other classic original features: impressive apartment doors, curved staircases, glass art, and wall paintings all tell the story of the building.
The apartments are stylish inside too. On five floors, the building offers prestigious 3 to 5 room apartments in a variety of layouts; attractive 2 room apartments with large, bright rooms; charming 1 room apartments, with truly miraculous use of space; or business units for new business initiatives. Between 39m² and 181m², everyone can find their own apartment or shop in the popular Prenzlauer Berg – either to live in or as an investment for the future. The apartments are sold in their current condition and the condition of the apartments varies, so that you can move in straight away or after renovation/modernization. The house is protected as a listed building and is located in a conservation area.
